Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kochi – Transfer to Munnar
- Upon arrival at Kochi, you will be welcomed and transferred to Munnar (approximately 4–5 hours by road). The drive gradually climbs into the Western Ghats, offering views of waterfalls, spice gardens, and rolling hills.
- On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The evening is free to unwind and enjoy the cool mountain climate.
- Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing
- After breakfast, proceed for a full-day exploration of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, known for its rare Nilgiri Tahr and panoramic hill views (closed during breeding season). Continue to scenic spots like Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where the valley views stretch endlessly across tea-covered slopes.
- You may also explore the Tea Museum to understand the region’s plantation history. Evening at leisure for local shopping or relaxation.
- Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady – Spice Plantation Experience
- After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (approx. 3–4 hours). This region is famous for its forests and spice cultivation. On arrival, check in to your hotel and later visit a local spice plantation to learn about cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and other aromatic crops grown in the region.
- You may opt for a boat ride at Periyar Lake (optional), where wildlife sightings are sometimes possible along the forested banks.

Day 4 Thekkady to Alleppey – Houseboat Experience
- After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat for a memorable backwater cruise.
- Sail through narrow canals lined with coconut palms, paddy fields, and village homes. The slow pace of the backwaters offers a unique glimpse into Kerala’s rural life. Freshly prepared meals are served onboard as you drift across serene waters.

Day 5 Departure from Kochi
