Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Leh (Acclimatization)
Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel. This day is kept strictly for rest and acclimatization due to the high altitude. You are advised to relax, avoid exertion, and drink plenty of fluids. Evening free to take a short walk near the hotel (only if comfortable). Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing covering Spituk Monastery, Hall of Fame War Museum, Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill (Gravity Hill), and the scenic Sangam of Indus & Zanskar Rivers. Later, visit Shanti Stupa, followed by Leh Palace and local market exploration. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3 Leh → Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. On arrival, visit Diskit Monastery and explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, with optional camel safari on double-humped Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4 Nubra → Pangong Lake
Post breakfast, check out and drive towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake via the Shyok route (weather & road conditions permitting). On arrival, witness the magical changing colors of the lake and enjoy leisure time along its shores. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 5 Pangong → Leh
After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the region. En route, enjoy stunning landscapes and high-altitude views. On arrival in Leh, rest and relax at the hotel. Overnight stay in Leh
Day 6 Monastery Tour
Visit Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, followed by Thiksey Monastery, beautifully perched on a hill and renowned for its classic Ladakhi architecture and impressive Buddha statue. Later, proceed to Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery of Ladakh, famous for its rich collection of ancient wall paintings and thangkas. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7 Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh airport for your onward journey.
